Nutritional Support

Go from walking with cramps…

To running a marathon!!

My fascination with nutrition began at a very early age and I’m excited to share my go-to tip that can help you feel great and digest like a pro…

Food combining!

Now, there is a much deeper dive into this, but in case you are occasionally mystified by belly bloat or general discomfort after eating and want to investigate possible triggers, here is a fun example.

If food categories were in a dance company together…

Most Veggies are ensemble members and are happy to dance with everyone.

Fruit always gets a solo, unless a new choreographer comes in and “blends” them with the Veggies.

Carbs are often given a positive review when featured with Oils & Fats.

Protein & Dairy are strong, but specific, and do not partner well with others.

A great institution uses everyone because…

We must have sources from every category for our organs to function properly!

Since many of us have food intolerances and allergies that are more involved, this is purely a guide to help clarify that the combination of certain foods eaten within a few hours of each other may have difficulty digesting and how to smooth out the process, if needed.

Here’s my Food Combining Guide to get you started.

I’d also like to make note of the elusive “nightshade” family… eggplant, tomatoes, white potatoes, peppers and red spices. These inflammatory foods have a reputation of exacerbating some already uncomfortable conditions. If this resonates with you, it could help to experiment with temporarily eliminating them from your diet and noticing if that eases any discomfort. If the result is positive, be especially mindful as you re-introduce those foods in moderation.
